Welcome to Young Wonderer!

I’m Michelle — mum to Olivia and William, and the founder of this little family business that I run alongside my twin sister, Jennifer. Jen is the talented illustrator behind all of our designs, and together we pour a whole lot of love and creativity into everything we make.

When my first baby, Olivia, was born, I started looking for toys and books to support her development. I discovered the amazing benefits of high-contrast black and white visuals for baby vision development — but finding high-contrast products that were durable, looked good, and would last beyond the newborn stage was surprisingly hard. So many products were just basic geometric shapes. We wanted to create a range that grows with your little one — from those first few weeks right through to toddlerhood. We also collaborate with baby development experts to make sure everything we create isn’t just beautiful, but truly helps little ones learn and grow.

The name Young Wonderer captures the magic of childhood — that boundless curiosity and adventurous spirit to explore the world. We’re inspired by the way babies see everything with wonder and aim to nurture that spark through sensory play and meaningful connection.

Based in Sydney, Australia, Young Wonderer offers a carefully curated collection of black and white baby toys, books and accessories designed to support development and strengthen the bond between parent and child.
